New Doors, Same Mission
While preparing for this year's short-term mission trip to Japan, I felt a strong sense of anticipation that God was going to move in greater ways than before. He raised my expectations, despite my worries and fears, and showed me that He can indeed do more than we could ever ask or imagine.
During this trip, we experienced our first-ever homestay with one of the coaches and a student's family, shared testimonies of our faith journey in public schools, handed out sports Bibles featuring stories of Christian athletes, spent time with students at the local church, reconnected with original students from 2017, and much more.
Jesus, you always make a way and meet us where we are. Thank you for your kindness during the early morning team devotions, the honest faith conversations, and the open doors to love students, coaches, families, and teammates. May all the seeds sown be nurtured deeply in the good soil of people's hearts.
I am also deeply grateful for the friends, families, and local church communities who partner with On The Mission year after year to be a part of exchanging hope and joy. I love you all and am so encouraged by you.
